Unique Approach
Have you ever drowned in the conflicting health information out there?

Healthcare professionals have so many different approaches and bizarre recommendations. Don't eat fat. Eat keto. Go paleo. Be vegan. Eat raw fruit and veg only. But what about bone broth? Gluten or no gluten?

Yet, no single remedy works for everyone. No single cure will have precisely the same effect on two people. Even an innocent vegetable can make one bloat and break out with an allergy, yet it can be a healing staple in someone else's routine.

How can any regimen, drug or treatment be expected to agree with everyone?

You are a microcosmos in your own right. Unique. Nobody has your fingerprints, irises, or earlobes because nobody has your exact doshic combination. Your friend's diet might not necessarily help you thrive.

Ayurveda allows for and explains those individual aspects of health.
This ancient science has been my filter in the quest to improve the health of others and it has helped me to integrate the most useful benefits several modern sciences have to offer as well.

What's included
1. Initial Consultation, for new patients, consists of two separate 40min sessions included in the price.

-
The first session of the Initial Consultation: Ayurvedic diagnosis and counselling. It is all about YOU - your medical history, health goals, signs and symptoms.

-
An appropriate herbal prescription is suggested. The trusted remedy manufacturer I affiliate with, located in Sri Lanka, is available only to the practitioners of the Ayurvedic Institute, UK. Herbs are not included in the consultation cost and are paid separately.

-
The second session of the Initial Consultation: Scheduled once the herbs reach the patient. Customized diet and lifestyle advice are explained, plus printable materials given. This session is all about your treatment plan moving forward while learning more about Ayurveda.

2. Subsequent consultations for returning patients are carried out in one 40min session tailored to the specific concern.

What to expect?
-
Ayurveda will be explained
My goal is to empower you with the knowledge you can use forever to sift through health fads with ease. You will instantly understand what is good for your unique self and why.

-
Mental health will play a part
Holistic health requires a deep examination of the tripod upon which well-being resides. The physical, psychological and spiritual realms will be addressed. Often, diet changes alone are insufficient when the problem lies in high-stress levels, past trauma or repressive thought patterns. In the consultation, the body and mind are treated together as inseparable entities.

-
Your commitment will be fundamental
Ayurveda aims to eliminate reasons for any ailment. That root cause is usually found in the diet, lifestyle, environment or the person's emotional state.
Unless the necessary everyday life changes are made, even herbal treatment becomes a band-aid solution only.
Healing starts with accepting this responsibility and a desire to change the trajectory of your health.

-
It will take time to undo an illness
Herbal treatments, while efficient, often take more time to do their magic than fast-acting, symptom-masking pharmaceuticals. Some symptoms can be resolved quickly, while others require months to subside.

Is it right for you?

-
You are willing to change your diet, mindset and lifestyle but are confused about the "HOW" due to the conflicting information out there.

-
You want to be responsible for your health.

-
You are not planning to start taking any new pharmaceutical medication simultaneously with the beginning of the Ayurvedic therapy.

-
You understand that illness develops over time and healing, the reverse process also does not happen overnight.

Chikitsa Chatushpada- Four Pillars of treatment in Ayurveda clearly divides the responsibility for the success of any medical treatment between the medical practitioner, his attendants, the medicine and the patient. Why?

Without an engaged, responsive patient, no treatment has a good prognosis, even if the Ayurvedic doctor is competent and their remedies are of top quality.

Eliminating root causes isn't done overnight with magic pills but with consistent work and collaboration between the practitioner and the committed patient.
